Michael Carcone signs 2 year NHL Contract with the Ottawa Senators

The Ottawa Senators have signed P4 Sports Agency client and forward Michael Carcone to a two-year, two-way contract. The first year of the contract will carry an annual value of $700,000 in the National Hockey League and $85,000 in the American Hockey League while the second year carries annual values of $700,000 in the NHL and $115,000 in the AHL.

Undrafted, Carcone made his way into the NHL on a three-year, entry-level contract the Vancouver Cancucks on July 15, 2016. Michael Carcone was the traded to by the Canucks to Toronto in exchange for Josh Leivo on Dec. 3, 2018. He has registered 89 points (40G, 49A) and 147 PIMS over the first 191 games of his professional career with Utica and Toronto.

Carcone, aged 23, was acquired by the Ottawa Senators from the Toronto Maple Leafs on July 1 as part of a six-player trade which also saw Ottawa receive defenceman Nikita Zaitsev and forward Connor Brown.
